Compassionate care for every stage and need
We can support service users who are elderly and frail, people suffering from physical disability, dementia, mental health issues and people receiving palliative care. While most of our service users receive long term, regular services, we are able to provide some short-term respite care in a service user’s home to enable their family carer(s) to take a break. We can also provide short term services to support service users on discharge from hospital following surgery or a period of illness.
Our services include the following:
- Day to day personal care including washing, showering, shaving, dressing and personal hygiene.
- Medication support including prompting and supervising medication administration.
- Assistance with meals including heating and serving meals.
- Overnight care including assisting to bed, continence care and repositioning.
Package funding
Some of our service users use their own resources to fund their package of care while others have their care funded wholly or in part by their local Health and Social Care Trust. If you require any support to fund a package of care from M Care, please contact the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust or the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust.
